Saiyan — S

Pick Saiyan if you want the game Dimps is advertising. Super Saiyan 3 appearing in a hands-off demo is not a damage table, but it is proof the awaken ladder has multiple rungs. Second awaken + second heal (shared Awoken rule) will look the most “Dragon Ball” on a Saiyan. Saiyan Mettle turning a revive into a stat buff is the only named race ability we can hang a ranking on. Combined with three knockdowns per mission, Saiyan is the race that has an official plan for dying.

Downside: everyone else will pick it. Your West City screenshot will look like a convention.

Android — S

Android is S because it is new and because the Fight Your Way trailer exists to sell it. Hirano stressed equal awakens, which was clearly a response to “Androids do not transform” forum brain. Until we see the form, Android is a high-upside mystery with the same Ki Break rules as a Saiyan — see Combat. If you enjoy being early on a race that will get the first balance blog, start here.

Downside: no named Android-only ability in the article examples. You are betting on trailer focus, not a tooltip.

Earthling — A

Earthling is the correct pick if you care about Fighting Styles more than hair. Official video already uses Earthling as the Goku-motion puppet. University slice-of-life also reads better on a human student. A-tier because it is flexible, not because it is weak. If the fighting styles list is why you opened this wiki, Earthling is your race.

Namekian — B

Namekian is not bad. It is under-filmed. Piccolo’s presence as both Soul Switch and Fighting Style steals the race’s camera time. If you love regeneration fantasy, take it. If you want the Piccolo kit, you may be happier as any race + Piccolo Switch, which is a different page: Soul Switch tier list.

Frieza Race and Majin — B

Both are launch races with awaken access. Both lack a dedicated 2026 trailer moment comparable to Android or SS3. Ranking them S would be fan fiction. Ranking them D would ignore “every race can awaken.” B means “valid, bring a plan, expect to re-rank in 2027.”

Golden Form and Majin absorption are not confirmed XV3 tooltips. Do not build a personality around them until a menu says so.

Shared Awoken math that outranks the table

• No timer; Ki is the duration.
• Ki Charge refills Ki and the awaken gauge.
• Ki Break knocks you out of the form — Perfect Guard matters more than race.
• Second awaken heals again.

A B-tier Majin who never Ki Breaks will look S-tier in a booth. Drill controls before you reroll.

Soul Switch users
