Platforms and Wishlist

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 platforms are simple: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, with a 2027 release window. There is no announced Nintendo version, no PS4/Xbox One SKU, and no day-one date. Use this page as the wishlist and language tool. Store URLs also sit on links. Onboarding: Getting Started.

Steam tags already include Action, Adventure, RPG, Anime, 3D Fighter, Character Customization, Multiplayer, Co-op, Online Co-op. Those tags are store metadata, not a promise of an MMO. Session rules: How to Play.

Cross-play, progression, saves

Gamescom 2026 (Hirano):

  • Cross-play: yes, planned at launch — PS5, Xbox, Steam can squad together.
  • Cross-progression: yes — your XV3 profile progress is meant to travel.
  • Cross-save: no — you cannot copy a save file between platforms the way some Xbox Play Anywhere titles do.

If you buy two copies, expect to share unlocks in the way Bandai Namco implements progression, not by USB. This also means a Steam refund plus a PS5 purchase is not a save-folder problem; it is a store problem. Comparison with XV2’s weaker online story: compare.

Languages (Steam)

Steam lists 16 interface languages. Full audio: English and Japanese. Subtitles/interface also include French, German, Spanish (Spain), Spanish (Latin America), Portuguese-Brazil, Italian, Arabic, Polish, Russian, Indonesian, Thai, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean.

This wiki is English, French, German, and Spanish — a subset chosen for the site, not a claim that the game lacks Japanese. In-game Japanese full audio is a reason to buy even if you read this wiki in English.

What is missing from every store page

  • Price (standard / deluxe / season pass)
  • PC minimum and recommended specs
  • Steam Deck verification (currently unknown)
  • File size
  • An exact 2027 day
  • Proof of local split-screen

Until those exist, anyone posting “RTX 3060 recommended” is guessing. We will not guess. Watch news.

Co-op feature flags

Official pages: solo plus online partners up to three (four fighters). Steam currently shows Single-player and Family Sharing categories publicly; richer multiplayer flags often appear closer to launch. Do not treat a missing Steam “Online Co-op” checkbox today as a contradiction of Bandai Namco’s combat article. If the checkbox never appears in 2027, that would be news.

Wishlist checklist

  1. Add the SKU you will actually play.
  2. Follow Bandai Namco and Dragon Ball Games on the links page.
  3. If you can attend a US event, check Road Tour.
  4. Learn combat so launch week is not a HUD quiz.
  5. Decide race and Switch/Awoken on character creation.

Regional store pages (Europe vs Americas) can differ in trailer embeds; they should not differ in platform list. If a retailer lists Switch, it is wrong until Bandai Namco says so.

This page is the tool you refresh after every showcase. Everything else on the wiki assumes these three platforms and a 2027 window.
